Manage training compliance, plans, and reports

Identify gaps, plan action, and interpret delivery using evidence. This article is for administrators.

Contents

Before you start

Check that job positions, requirements, courses, and skills are configured. Define the year, company, and scope the plan must cover before creating actions.

Manage training compliance

  1. Open Training compliance.
  2. Filter by company, office, team, job position, area, plan, or status.
  3. Check whether each requirement is current, outstanding, expiring soon, or expired.
  4. Open a gap to review the available evidence.
  5. Create a plan action when you need to address it.

Issues update when the requirement is met again or no longer applies.

Prepare a training plan

  1. Open Training plans.
  2. Create an annual plan for the account or one company.
  3. Add actions with a course or proposal, audience, dates, hours, and estimated cost.
  4. Link the events that deliver each action.
  5. Record costs, outcomes, and evaluations during the year.
  6. Complete the final evaluation when closing the plan.

Linked events provide the actual results. Without them, Talento looks for completions of the same course, year, and audience, which can produce different totals.

Create and publish learning paths

  1. Open Learning paths.
  2. Enter a name, description, and deadline.
  3. Decide whether earlier completions count.
  4. Add published courses in order.
  5. Mark mandatory and optional steps.
  6. Configure the audience and exclusions.
  7. Publish when there is an inclusive audience and at least one mandatory step.

Publication assigns the path to active people in its audience. Archiving stops new assignments and cancels active assignments that have not started.

Review reports and exports

  1. Open Reports → Training.
  2. Choose history by person, training by area, annual activity, compliance evidence, or plan execution.
  3. Apply the relevant filters.
  4. Export to Excel when you need to review or share authorised detail.

Large exports are prepared in the background and retain the filters and access scope.

Outcome

The dashboard will show current gaps, the plan will compare forecast and delivery, and reports will retain evidence within your authorised scope.

Common issues

  • Missing job position appears: complete the applicable position before interpreting the requirement.
  • Plan totals do not match: check linked events, year, course, and audience.
  • A learning path cannot be published: it needs at least one inclusive rule and one mandatory step.
  • People are missing from a report: review filters and scope; do not broaden permissions solely to complete a figure.
