Before you start
The module must be active and you need permission to read skills. Available events depend on publication, availability type, dates where applicable, and audience; module access does not expose the whole company catalogue.
See Find my way around My learning if you first need an overview of the personal area.
Use My learning
Open My learning → Today to handle overdue paths, mandatory requirements, expiring skills, and started courses first. Then use Training → Catalogue to look for a specific event.
Find a course
- Open My learning → Training → Catalogue.
- Search by course or event, area, and mode.
- Open More filters for skill, dates, registration, or availability.
- Remove individual filters if no result appears.
- Open an event to review its availability type, mode, whether it is mandatory, and linked skills; for a scheduled event, also check dates, location, and seats.
The catalogue shows published, visible, unfinished events. Anytime events appear first, followed by scheduled events ordered by start date. A link from a requirement, skill, or path may preselect a useful filter.
Start an anytime course
Events marked Available anytime appear before scheduled events. Use the availability-type filter to show only anytime or scheduled events. Select Start course to create your confirmed enrollment and open the first lesson immediately. A course you have already opened shows Continue course; a finished course shows Completed. Optional courses can be left only before you record progress.
Register for an event
- Open the event from the catalogue.
- Check its dates, location, mode, and conditions.
- Select the registration action.
- Check whether you are Confirmed or Waitlisted.
A scheduled event with open registration confirms you while seats remain, then places later registrations on the waiting list. Closed registration sends every new registration to the waiting list for manual confirmation.
Only confirmed people use a seat, receive a calendar booking, and open the content. You can withdraw from an optional event before it starts. For a mandatory event or once it starts, contact a training manager.
Common problems
- An event is missing: review filters; it may be a draft, finished, or outside your audience.
- You cannot open content: your registration must be confirmed.
- The waiting list does not move: confirmation is manual in closed events.
- No event develops a skill: start a request from the prepared search.
