Explore training and register

Prioritise your next actions, find an event, and reserve your place. This article is for anyone taking part in training.

Before you start

Your company must have the module enabled and you need access to skills. The events you see depend on their status, dates, and audience; access to the module does not let you view every event.

Use My learning

  1. Open My learning.
  2. Review Today for up to four priority actions.
  3. Open Learn to use Paths or Catalog.
  4. Use Progress to review your history and skills.
  5. Open Requests to raise a need or record external training.

Today may highlight overdue learning paths, job requirements, skills nearing expiry, courses you have started, or mandatory events for which you have no active registration.

Find training

  1. Go to My learning → Learn → Catalog.
  2. Search by course or event, area, and format.
  3. Open More filters to narrow results by skill, dates, registration, or availability.
  4. Remove individual filters if the expected result does not appear.
  5. Open an event to review its description, dates, location, and capacity.

The catalogue shows published events that are visible to you and have not ended, ordered by start date. If you arrive from a requirement or renewal, Talento may apply the relevant filter.

Register for an event

  1. Open the event from the catalogue.
  2. Check its format, location, dates, and conditions.
  3. Select the registration action.
  4. Check whether your registration is Confirmed or Waitlisted.

Open registration with available places is confirmed. If there are no places or registration is closed, you are waitlisted. Only confirmed participants occupy a place and can open the content.

You can withdraw from an optional event before it starts. For a mandatory event, or on its start date, contact the person responsible.

Outcome

The event will appear in your upcoming registrations as confirmed or waitlisted. If a place becomes available at an open event, Talento may promote and notify you.

Common issues

  • An event does not appear: review your filters; its audience may also exclude you.
  • You cannot open the content: you need a confirmed registration.
  • The waiting list does not change: confirmation is manual for closed events.
  • There is no event for a skill: start a request from the prepared search.
