For managers and administrators

Analyse team training

Choose the right report, apply filters, and export only information within your scope. This article is for managers and administrators.

Contents

Before you start

You need report access. Reports containing people honour your scope: managers see only people they can manage even when a broader filter is selected.

Choose a training report

Open Reports → Training and choose the question:

  • History by person shows completions, outcomes, hours, and evidence.
  • Summary by area groups activity and participation by training category.
  • Annual activity by entity compares courses, categories, and unique participants for one company and year, including available gender breakdown.
  • Compliance evidence shows job requirements and supporting evidence.
  • Plan execution compares forecast, activity, and every review recorded for a training plan.

Apply scope and filters

  1. Select year, dates, company, or office where available.
  2. Add course, area, person, status, or plan filters.
  3. Apply them and check the summary before reading details.

Leaving the employee filter empty keeps everyone in your scope. If someone is missing, review scope and filters rather than widening access.

  1. Use the normal view to explore paginated results.
  2. Select Print to include the full filtered result.
  3. Review the warning above 1,000 rows and narrow filters where practical.
  4. Select Export to Excel to prepare a file with the same scope and filters.

Large exports run in the background. Talento stores the file and emails you when it is ready.

Common problems

  • A person is missing: check scope, dates, and employee filters.
  • Print contains more rows than the screen: it includes all filtered pages.
  • Excel is not immediate: it is being prepared in the background.
  • Annual totals do not add course participants: the report counts unique people.
