Before you start
The assistant does not only read your data; it can create and update records for you. To keep you safe, the usual flow is the same: preview first, confirm second.
What you can create or change depends on your permissions and the company's active features. In general you can work with absences, expenses, clock-in entries, schedule changes, goals, tasks, and bookings. Managers can also create team items; see Work with information about my team.
Information
The assistant does not delete company records. If you need to remove something, do it from the relevant Talento page. See Assistant limits.
Review the preview
When you ask it to create or change something, the assistant prepares the record and shows you a preview of exactly what it is about to do. Nothing is applied until you confirm.
A typical flow:
- You ask for the action: “Request vacation from 15 to 20 July.”
- The assistant resolves dates, working days, and category, and applies sensible defaults.
- It shows you a clear preview.
- You confirm, ask for an adjustment, or cancel.
Only after your yes is the request saved.
You do not have to fill in every field. The assistant completes the obvious ones:
- Date: today, unless you say otherwise.
- Expense category: inferred from context (a taxi usually goes to transport).
- Absence: a full day, unless you give hours.
- Goal: starts in planning; new requests go in as pending.
“Log a EUR 12 parking expense” is usually enough. You still see the preview and can correct it.
Warning
Do not confirm a preview if the name, date, amount, or person does not match. Explain the change in your next message.
Adjust or cancel
To change something before it is saved, say what is different:
- “Make it start on the 16th.”
- “Change the amount to EUR 18.”
- “Set the category to Travel.”
The assistant updates the preview and asks again. If you change your mind, say “cancel” and nothing is saved.
Some straightforward actions can run without a preview. The final response tells you whether they completed. If you are unsure what happened, open the relevant Talento page before repeating the request: you could create a duplicate.
