Before you start
The assistant is capable, but it does not do everything. This list describes the current limits so you do not spend time on requests that will have no effect.
The real scope depends on purchased features, your user type, and your permissions. If an option does not appear, ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to look for a workaround in the conversation.
What it cannot do
- It does not delete company records. It will not delete absences, expenses, goals, clock-in entries, or project tasks. It can delete only your own incomplete private personal todos when you ask. It never reopens a completed personal todo just to delete it.
- It does not send emails or notifications on your behalf. Requesting an absence creates the request; Talento's normal approval flow handles the rest.
- It does not see data you cannot access. An employee sees their own information. A manager sees their scope. An external user only sees data for the active company.
- It does not browse the internet or other tools. Everything it knows comes from the Talento account.
- It does not generate internal links or technical identifiers. It refers to people and records by name and date.
- It does not answer general-knowledge questions outside work in Talento: it is not a search engine, calculator, or personal adviser.
Listings return a maximum of 100 records per query. If there are more, the assistant tells you: narrow the request with dates, status, person, or category.
How it reads data
The assistant reads the real records in your account. If a query finds four goals, it reports four. If it finds nothing, it says so instead of inventing totals, dates, or names.
Within a single chat it keeps the thread, so you can ask follow-ups. A New chat starts from scratch. If an administrator has enabled Assistant memory, Talento can remember stable preferences; it does not store a copy of the conversations.
Information
If the company is Out of AI credits, the message field is disabled. Contact an administrator; this is not a permissions problem.
When an answer does not add up:
- Rephrase with more detail: dates, names, status.
- Ask a follow-up in the same chat.
- Start a New chat if the thread has become mixed.
