Before you start
The Meetings area creates a workspace for one-to-one conversations between a manager and a participant. The workspace keeps notes by date and provides access to prepared questions, recent feedback, and active goals.
The appointment appears in both people's calendars, but the preparation workspace and its notes belong to the person who created the meeting. The participant cannot open the manager's private notebook.
Create a one-to-one meeting
- Open Meetings.
- Select New meeting.
- Add a meeting name when the conversation has a specific purpose.
- Search for and select the participant.
- Set the date, time, and frequency.
- Save the meeting.
Talento creates a calendar appointment for both the organiser and participant. If the meeting has no name, the calendar uses a name generated from both people.
Record notes from a session
Open the meeting from Meetings or the calendar. Use the Meetings tab to add notes to the current date while the conversation takes place.
Keep each note focused on a decision, blocker, or concrete next step. Earlier sessions are grouped by date in the side history so you can recover the context without mixing it into today's record.
Warning
Meeting notes are encrypted and restricted to the organiser's workspace, but they should still contain only the professional information needed for follow-up.
Add prepared questions
- Open the meeting's Questions tab.
- Review the templates available to you.
- Add the questions you want to use in the current session.
- Record a response or rating during the conversation when appropriate.
Questions are linked to the session date. You do not have to use a whole template; choose only the questions that help structure the conversation.
Review feedback and goals
The Feedback tab shows the participant's recent responses that are within your scope. Goals / OKRs shows their active goals.
Use these panels as context:
- ask about a comment before interpreting its intent;
- review progress and blockers on goals;
- turn agreements into actions outside the notes when they need formal follow-up.
Access to feedback still follows your permissions. Creating a meeting with someone does not automatically grant access to additional information about them.
Change or end a meeting
Use the meeting menu to change its participant, name, or schedule. Frequency changes update future appointments.
Delete the meeting when it should no longer continue. First check whether any agreement needs to be moved into a goal, task, or another permanent record.
Outcome
You can verify the result in the team view or in the state described in the steps above.
Common problems
If an option does not appear, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an option that does not apply.
