For participants

Take part in a scheduled meeting

Check the appointment in your calendar and prepare the topics you want to discuss. This article is for anyone completing this task.

Contents

Before you start

The Meetings area creates a workspace for one-to-one conversations between a manager and a participant. The workspace keeps notes by date and provides access to prepared questions, recent feedback, and active goals.

The appointment appears in both people's calendars, but the preparation workspace and its notes belong to the person who created the meeting. The participant cannot open the manager's private notebook.

Check a scheduled meeting

  1. Open My calendar.
  2. Find the meeting on the relevant date and time.
  3. Check its name and duration.
  4. Prepare the points you want to raise.

The appointment may be a one-off or part of a recurring series. Changes made by the organiser apply to future calendar appointments.

Information

The calendar event confirms the schedule, but it does not give you access to the organiser's private notes. Share your topics during the conversation and agree the next steps.

Prepare for the conversation

Before the meeting, review any goals, recent feedback, and earlier commitments available to you. Prepare a short list covering:

  • progress since the previous session;
  • blockers or decisions you need;
  • support you would find useful;
  • development topics;
  • next steps you want to agree.

If an agreement needs a lasting record, add it afterwards to the appropriate shared company space, such as a goal, task, or comment on the related item.

Outcome

You can verify the result in your personal area or in the state described in the steps above.

Common problems

If an option does not appear, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an option that does not apply.
