For administrators

Configure customer information

Define shared classifications and fields, and import customer records in a controlled way. This article is for people who configure or administer this feature.

Contents

Before you start

The Customers area provides a central record for each company or person you sell to. It brings fiscal identity, addresses, phone numbers, contacts, notes, activity, opportunities, invoices, and signatures together so sales and administration work from the same information.

Information

Contacts and opportunities require CRM, while invoices require Invoicing. Visible content and actions also follow the relevant Customers, CRM, and Invoicing permissions.

Import customers

  1. Open Import customers.
  2. Review or download the required structure.
  3. Prepare a CSV file no larger than 10 MB.
  4. Check names, tax IDs, countries, and emails.
  5. Upload it and review every row's result.

Run a small sample first and check for duplicates before loading the full portfolio.

Configure categories, stages, and fields

From CRM settings, maintain:

Order stages in lifecycle sequence and avoid overlapping categories. Before making information mandatory, confirm that the team can obtain and maintain it reliably.

Result

You can verify the result on the settings page, in the list, or through the status described above.

Common problems

If an option is missing, check that the module is active and that you have the required permission and record scope. If the configuration is correct and the problem continues, keep the message shown and contact support.
