For complaint managers

Manage received complaints

Review assigned reports, update their classification, and reply to the person who submitted them. This article is for managers working with their team or management scope.

Contents

Before you start

The complaint channel provides a separate page from your usual work area for reporting conduct or events that should be brought to your organisation's attention. You can submit a complaint anonymously or include your name and email address.

After submission, Talento creates a private web address. This address lets the reporter check the status, read replies, and provide more information without signing in.

Warning

The tracking address gives access to the complaint. Store it somewhere secure and do not share it if you need to protect the report's confidentiality.

Management access is not granted simply because someone manages a team. It is limited to the person assigned to the channel and people with the specific complaint-management permission.

Reply to and update a complaint

  1. Open Received complaints.
  2. Use status, category, or channel filters to find the report.
  3. Open it and review the description, attachments, and activity history.
  4. Update its status or category when appropriate.
  5. Add a comment to request information or communicate progress.

The reply appears on the private tracking page. When the reporter supplied an email address, Talento may also notify them of the new activity.

Handle the content and attachments according to your organisation's confidentiality process. Do not copy the information into a space with a wider audience.

Result

You can verify the result in the team view or the status described in the steps above.

Common issues

If an option is unavailable, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company settings. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an option that does not apply.
