Configure a complaint channel

Set the scope, manager, and public page for each channel. This article is for people who configure or administer this feature.

Contents

Before you start

The complaint channel provides a separate page from your usual work area for reporting conduct or events that should be brought to your organisation's attention. You can submit a complaint anonymously or include your name and email address.

After submission, Talento creates a private web address. This address lets the reporter check the status, read replies, and provide more information without signing in.

Warning

The tracking address gives access to the complaint. Store it somewhere secure and do not share it if you need to protect the report's confidentiality.

Configure a complaint channel

  1. Open Complaint channel settings.
  2. Create a channel or open an existing one.
  3. Assign an internal or external complaint manager.
  4. Restrict the channel to one office when needed, or leave it available to the whole company.
  5. Add the terms-of-use page and choose the public-page appearance.
  6. Review and share the public page address.

You can also change the title, explanatory copy, cover image, and available complaint statuses. Use names and descriptions that help people choose the correct channel without exposing sensitive information.

Information

An office can have only one office-specific channel. A channel with no assigned office serves as the company's general channel.

Result

You can verify the result on the settings page, in the relevant list, or through the status described in the steps above.

Common issues

If an option is unavailable, check the active module, the specific permission, and the record scope. If the settings are correct and the issue continues, keep the displayed message and contact support.
