Review the dashboard and job valuation

Review aggregate indicators and compare job valuations available to your role. This article is for managers working within their team or management scope.

Before you begin

Pay equality reports help identify remuneration differences, review gender representation, and compare jobs through shared criteria. Talento provides four tools: the Pay equality dashboard, Job valuation, Pay gap report, and Salary register.

In Spain, Royal Decree 902/2020 regulates equal pay and covers instruments such as registers, audits, and job valuation. The Ministry of Equality also provides official tools for companies.

Warning

Talento helps prepare and analyse information, but it does not itself certify legal compliance or replace a pay audit or professional advice. Confirm the obligations and method that apply to your company before presenting official results.

The data is sensitive. The dashboard and valuation are available to authorised leadership roles; the Pay gap report and Salary register are restricted to administrators.

Before preparing these reports, read Contracts, salaries, and job positions to understand the data behind classification, current compensation, and salary history.

Interpret the pay equality dashboard

Open the Pay equality dashboard to review an aggregate view. It can include:

  • the overall pay gap;
  • employee distribution by gender;
  • average job valuation;
  • differences by professional group;
  • warnings that require review.

A positive gap means the calculated male average is higher than the female average; a negative gap means the reverse. The percentage alone does not explain the cause or prove discrimination. It can reflect job mix, working time, seniority, allowances, or data-quality issues.

Administrators may also see a monthly trend based on snapshots. Managers see the aggregate data allowed for their role, without this overall trend.

Tip

Use the dashboard to identify where to investigate. Then review classifications, job valuations, contracts, and pay components before drawing conclusions.

Review job valuation

Open Job valuation to compare positions using four factors:

  • required education or training;
  • necessary experience;
  • responsibility;
  • working conditions.

The report shows the calculated total score, organisational classification, configured salary band, and number of linked employees where available. Use professional group, family, or level filters to compare work of similar value.

Valuation concerns the job, not the performance of its holder. Apply objective, documented criteria consistently. Spain's official procedure is established by Order PCM/1047/2022.

Result

You can confirm the result in the team view or in the status described in the steps above.

Common problems

If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an unrelated alternative.
