Before you begin
Pay equality reports help identify remuneration differences, review gender representation, and compare jobs through shared criteria. Talento provides four tools: the Pay equality dashboard, Job valuation, Pay gap report, and Salary register.
In Spain, Royal Decree 902/2020 regulates equal pay and covers instruments such as registers, audits, and job valuation. The Ministry of Equality also provides official tools for companies.
Warning
Talento helps prepare and analyse information, but it does not itself certify legal compliance or replace a pay audit or professional advice. Confirm the obligations and method that apply to your company before presenting official results.
The data is sensitive. The dashboard and valuation are available to authorised leadership roles; the Pay gap report and Salary register are restricted to administrators.
Before preparing these reports, read Contracts, salaries, and job positions to understand the data behind classification, current compensation, and salary history.
Analyse the pay gap
The Pay gap report compares average remuneration for men and women whose contracts and gender data can be used. Talento calculates the percentage relative to the male average and lets you review differences by professional group, level, or family.
- Select the period you want to analyse.
- Apply the required organisational or professional filters.
- Check how many people are included in each comparison.
- Review the flagged groups and differences between their averages.
- Investigate the source data and context before explaining the result.
When closed payroll periods are available, the report can also break differences down by pay component. Use this detail to identify components that warrant review.
Review the salary register
The Salary register presents aggregate remuneration data, including totals, means, and medians, with breakdowns by gender and professional classification. When closed payroll data is available, it can also include salary components.
Read any quality or representativeness warnings shown by Talento. Small groups, a high proportion of unspecified gender, or contracts without salary make comparisons less useful.
Information
Reports present a common euro view. Confirm that source data and any required conversions are correct before using the results outside Talento.
Filter and export reports
Depending on the report, you can combine:
- analysis start and end dates;
- active employees only;
- office and team;
- professional group, family, or level.
After reviewing the on-screen results, select Export to Excel to download the authorised report. The file remains sensitive even when aggregated: store it securely and share it only with the people responsible for the analysis.
Important
Do not publish or send an export until you have checked whether small groups could indirectly reveal individual pay.
Result
You can confirm the result on the settings page, in the list, or in the status described in the steps above.
Common problems
If an option is missing, check that the module is active, that you have the specific permission, and that the record is within your scope. If the configuration is correct and the problem continues, keep the displayed message and contact support.
