Before you start
Risk management brings health protocols, medical examinations, deliveries of personal protective equipment (PPE, labelled EPI in Talento), risk assessments, and preventive measures together. The dashboard uses record dates and statuses to highlight what needs attention.
Information
These pages are available only to administrators when the Risk management module is active. The medical-examination and EPI-delivery lists include active employees in the company.
Warning
Medical examinations contain particularly sensitive information. Record only what occupational risk management requires, limit notes and attachments to relevant information, and do not share or export this data outside authorised channels.
Prepare the data that the records will use:
- create the health protocols that you want to associate with medical examinations;
- check that the required job positions and offices already exist;
- confirm that the items you intend to issue are configured as EPI in the catalogue;
- agree who will be responsible for each risk assessment and preventive measure.
A medical examination does not require a health protocol, and an assessment does not require a job position or office. However, adding these relationships makes records easier to find and review later.
Review the risk management dashboard
Open the Risk management dashboard. Its information is divided into three areas:
- Needs attention: medical examinations whose next date is today or has passed; EPI deliveries that have expired or are missing a signature; assessments whose review date is today or has passed; and pending or in-progress measures whose implementation date has passed.
- Coming up: medical examinations and EPI deliveries that expire within the next 30 days. This area does not include upcoming assessment reviews or measure implementation dates.
- Coverage: the number of active assessments and training records marked as required for risk management.
The dashboard shows a selection of the most immediate records and provides links to the full lists. Coverage counts configured records: it does not show how many employees have completed training or certify compliance on its own.
[!IMPORTANT]
An assessment appears under Needs attention when its review date arrives, even if its status is Draft or Archived. The assessment status and its review date are independent.
Act on alerts and expiry dates
Start with Needs attention and open each record to check which value triggered the alert:
- for a medical examination, check the next examination date;
- for an EPI delivery, check its expiry date and whether the receipt is recorded as signed;
- for an assessment, check its scheduled review date;
- for a measure, check its implementation date and whether it is still Pending or In progress.
The item stops appearing when the value that triggered the alert no longer meets those conditions. Record the action that actually took place first; do not change a date or status only to hide the alert.
Result
You can verify the result in the team view or through the status described above.
Common problems
If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, the active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an unsuitable alternative.
