Before you begin
The Reports area provides purpose-built views for working time, overtime, activity, absences, feedback, contracts, and training. Each area answers a different question and limits results to the employees you are authorised to see.
Reports combine filters, tables, charts, and exports. Use them to investigate and make decisions, not to copy company information indiscriminately.
Information
Not everyone can open the reports dashboard or every area within it. The personal time tracking report is available from its own route; team and company reports require a manager or administrator role and the relevant permissions.
Open the reports dashboard
Open the Reports dashboard to see the areas available to you. It can include:
- time tracking, overtime, and excess activity;
- employees with open activity or no recorded activity;
- absences;
- feedback and workplace climate;
- training and compliance;
- contracts, equality, and salaries.
A visible report card does not guarantee access to all its data. Each report checks your permissions again and limits the employees included.
Choose the right report
Start with the question you need to answer:
- use Time tracking for hours, activities, and approvals;
- use Leave days and overtime to review the selected year's balances and their automatic, manual, and redeemed movements;
- use Absences for rates, frequency, categories, calendars, or pending approvals;
- use Feedback for authorised trends and rankings;
- use Training for completion history, categories, companies, and compliance evidence;
- use Contracts and equality for salary registers, pay gaps, job valuation, and the Pay equality dashboard.
If contract or compensation results do not match your expectations, first review how the source data connects in Contracts, salaries, and job positions.
Open-activity, inactivity, and excess-activity reports help resolve operational time-tracking issues. Do not use them as standalone measures of productivity.
Tip
Define the question before choosing the report. Opening several tables without a set period and scope usually produces confusing comparisons.
Apply filters with the correct scope
Set the period first, then the company, office, team, or employees. Some reports add subject-specific filters such as absence category, climate question, job position, or training category.
Before interpreting the result, confirm:
- the exact dates included;
- whether the period is complete or still open;
- the selected population;
- any permission limits on that population;
- whether records remain pending approval or correction.
When comparing two periods, keep equivalent durations and the same filters. If team size changed, compare rates as well as totals and explain the population change.
Result
You can confirm the result in the team view or in the status described in the steps above.
Common problems
If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an unrelated alternative.
