For you

Recognise my colleagues

Send a High 5 with a specific message to one or more people. This article is for people carrying out this task.

Contents

Before you start

Recognition lets you publicly thank other people for good work, helpful behaviour, or a positive attitude. In Talento, each message is called a High 5 and is linked to its sender and the people mentioned.

The aim is to explain which behaviour deserves recognition. A specific message helps reinforce it and is more useful than generic praise.

Send a High 5

  1. Open High 5.
  2. Describe what you want to recognise.
  3. Enter @ and select the colleague from the suggestions.
  4. Review the message.
  5. Select Send High 5.

The mentioned person receives the High 5 and an email containing your message. You cannot send a High 5 to yourself.

Tip

Describe the action and its effect—for example, what the person resolved, who they helped, or which result they made possible.

Recognise several people

You can include several mentions in one message:

  1. Enter @ and select the first person.
  2. Continue the text and add a mention for each colleague.
  3. Check that every intended person appears in the message.
  4. Send the High 5.

Each mentioned person receives their own recognition record. If their contributions were different, separate messages are often clearer because each can explain the relevant achievement.

Warning

Check every mention before sending. The form does not provide an action to edit the recognition afterwards.

If a colleague does not appear

The mention selector includes only people you are allowed to find. If someone is missing:

  • make sure you entered @ before searching;
  • check that the person is still active;
  • confirm that your permissions and visibility include them;
  • ask an administrator for help if they should be available.

Outcome

Each mentioned colleague will receive a High 5 and an email with your message.

Common issues

If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review that access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an unsuitable alternative.
