Before you start
Workplace climate sends a short recurring question to active employees. It helps managers notice changes in how a team is doing, collect context about day-to-day work, and begin a conversation when someone needs support.
This is separate from a survey created in the general survey builder. Climate pulses use their own configured questions and are answered through a personal link sent by email or, when connected by the company, Slack.
Configure climate questions
- Open Climate survey.
- Select Configure questions.
- Create or edit the required question groups.
- Add rating options and follow-up questions.
- Keep only the questions intended for upcoming requests active.
When several questions are active, Talento can rotate them between requests. Keep wording brief and option meanings stable over time so trends remain comparable.
Schedule feedback requests
- From Climate survey, open Settings.
- Choose daily, weekly, or monthly delivery.
- Select a working day when the frequency requires one.
- Set the delivery time and save.
- Send yourself a test email to review the message.
- Select Schedule feedback request.
The page shows the next scheduled delivery. Active employees receive the request by email, or through Slack when that integration is configured for the company.
You can cancel delivery without deleting questions or earlier responses. Schedule it again when the company is ready to resume the pulse.
Warning
Confirm the frequency and active questions before scheduling. Requests that are too frequent or unclear can reduce both participation and response quality.
Review received responses
Open Received feedback to review responses within your permission and management scope. Filter by team, employee, or read state; open a comment; and reply in its conversation.
When a response needs follow-up, you can:
- reply so the employee sees your message in their history;
- prepare a one-to-one meeting;
- mark reviewed entries as read;
- focus the list on one team or employee.
Feedback reports provide additional trends and comparisons when your profile has access. Interpret them alongside participation and team context; one response cannot represent the climate of a whole company.
For the complete message and reply flow, see the Feedback guide.
Tip
Close the loop: acknowledge the feedback, explain what action will follow, and revisit the subject in the next pulse or meeting.
Result
The climate settings show the next delivery, and Received feedback shows responses available within your scope.
Troubleshooting
If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access rather than repeating the task or choosing an unsuitable alternative.
