Before you start
The Candidates and applications area brings together information about people interested in joining the company. An application may arrive through a public vacancy or be added internally. The recruitment team uses one candidate record to review the CV, assess fit, retain comments, and track progress for each job offer.
Information
One person can apply for several vacancies. Their profile brings those applications together, but each retains its own offer, stage, ratings, and fit assessment.
Find and review candidates
Open Candidates to see people connected to job offers you may manage. The list shows their profile, skills, and active recruitment processes.
Open a person to review:
- saved contact details and notification preferences;
- associated applications, stages, ratings, and fit;
- their CV or attached document;
- internal comments and files;
- movement and action history.
You can also open Job offers and work directly from one offer's stage board.
Move an application between stages
On the offer board, drag a candidate card to the correct column. Alternatively, open the application and select Move to… to advance it to the next stage.
Talento records the movement in its history. If the new stage has a configured notification, Talento prepares the corresponding message using the associated template.
Warning
Moving a card does more than reorder the board: it changes the application's real stage and may trigger a notification. Confirm the destination before releasing it.
Assess a candidate
Open the application to compare the role with the profile. Use application ratings, skills, and interview answers to document the assessment.
The fit indicator helps compare the vacancy requirements with the available candidate information. Treat it as decision support, not an automatic hiring decision: review the CV, experience, and evidence behind each score.
Add comments when a decision needs context. Avoid recording irrelevant opinions or personal information unrelated to recruitment.
Prepare an interview
Open Interview mode from the application. It shows the skills and question templates attached to the current stage. Record the questions used and keep the necessary conclusions in the candidate comments.
When the stage has an active recruitment booking calendar, you can also create a booking invitation so the candidate can choose an available appointment. See Booking calendars to configure those schedules.
Tip
Use the same criteria for candidates applying to the same role. Question templates make comparisons more consistent and explainable.
Create and approve a candidate offer
- Open the selected candidate's application.
- Select Add candidate offer.
- Enter job position, working model, contract, salary, dates, office, team, and manager.
- Add an expiry date and email template when appropriate.
- Save the proposal.
- Open Candidate offers to review it.
- Use Approval to approve or reject it and retain an explanation.
Approval updates the internal status and informs employees with access. Agree separately how and when the proposal will be communicated to the candidate.
Result
You can verify the result in the team view or through the status described above.
Common problems
If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, the active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an unsuitable alternative.
