Before you start
The Talento Settings area contains the configuration that shapes the rest of the application. This is where you maintain company structure, employee options, and the rules for active modules.
A change often affects more than one screen. An office, for example, can be used in employee records, permissions, schedules, and reports; a category can determine the choices shown when your team creates a record.
Information
Settings only shows options available for the company's active modules and your access level. Different companies or employees may therefore see different options.
Open Settings
Open Settings from the administration menu. You need permission to manage company settings; if you can use Talento but cannot see this entry, ask an administrator.
The page groups settings into four areas:
- Company: organisational structure and shared resources.
- People: contracts, schedules, training, recruitment, and other employee-related options.
- Operations: CRM, projects, invoicing, items, signatures, and operational modules.
- Other: documents, approvals, permissions, custom fields, and additional features.
Find the setting you need
Start with the outcome you want to change:
- for where an employee works or belongs, check Company;
- for employment or development, check People;
- for a commercial or work process, check Operations;
- for shared access, classification, or automation, check Other.
Each card opens its own maintenance screen. Use the feature guide when you need detailed instructions; this page is a map of the administration area.
See Contracts, salaries, and job positions for a structured approach to configuring contract types, working times, professional classifications, job positions, and salary tables.
Tip
If an option is missing from a form, look for its catalogue in Settings first. The value may not exist yet, may be inactive, or may belong to a module the company does not use.
Open the guide for a specific setting
Use these guides to complete each setup from start to finish:
- Company: Account, subscription, and modules and Organisation structure and resources.
- People: Contracts, salaries, and job positions, Payroll, Risk management, Schedules and shifts, and Absences.
- Processes and data: Approval rules, Custom fields, Invoicing settings, and API access and integrations.
- Templates and automation: Signature templates, Custom email templates, and Custom views with AI.
Each guide states the permission, module, or prerequisite data it needs. If you are changing several areas, start with the account and structure, continue with catalogues and rules, and finish by checking permissions and one complete workflow.
Result
You can verify the result in the team view or the status described in the steps above.
Common issues
If an option is unavailable, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company settings. Ask an administrator to review your access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an option that does not apply.
