Before you begin
The Providers area holds information about the companies and professionals you buy from. Each record centralises fiscal identity, address, phone numbers, contacts, classification, and purchase invoices so purchasing and administration use the same information.
Information
Providers can be available through CRM or Invoicing. The Customers permission controls who can review or change provider records, while purchasing documents have their own permissions.
Import providers
- Open Import providers.
- Prepare the file in the structure shown.
- Use CSV and keep it below 10 MB.
- Check names, tax IDs, countries, and emails.
- Upload the file.
- Review the result row by row.
Test a small batch first and resolve duplicates before importing the full portfolio.
Configure categories and fields
Maintain a shared classification in Provider categories. Keep names clear and avoid equivalent categories.
Use CRM custom fields for genuinely additional provider information. Decide who maintains each field and do not duplicate standard fiscal or contact data.
Review a provider before deletion
Before deleting a provider, review its contacts, purchase invoices, and purchase orders. Transfer or preserve information required for accounting history.
Important
Deleting a provider cannot be undone and may affect related documents. Never use deletion to resolve a duplicate with history until you understand what depends on both records.
Result
You can confirm the result on the settings page, in the list, or in the status described in the steps above.
Common problems
If an option does not appear, check the enabled module, the specific permission, and the record scope. If the configuration is correct and the problem continues, keep the message shown and contact support.
