For HR

Maintain calendars and team needs

Configure public holidays and skill requirements in the correct scope. This article is for people who configure or administer this feature.

Contents

Before you start

Once the structure exists, open each office or team to maintain information belonging to that scope. This prevents a public holiday or skill requirement from being applied to the wrong employees.

Configure an office's public holidays

Open Offices, select the office, and open the Public holidays tab. Add the name and date of each holiday specific to that workplace.

Review the calendar when changing an office's country or region. Public holidays affect calendars and working days, so a duplicate or incorrect date can alter planning.

Warning

Do not remove a public holiday used by the company without first checking the effect on absences, schedules, and planned records. Also document the year from which the change applies.

Define skill requirements

Open an Office or Team, then go to Skill requirements. Add:

  • the skill the group needs;
  • the target number of employees who should have it;
  • the deadline;
  • the person responsible for closing the requirement.

The requirement measures coverage across the group; it does not assign a skill to an individual. Use a verifiable target and review the current value to identify the remaining gap.

Outcome

You can verify the result on the configuration page, in the list, or in the state described in the steps above.

Common problems

If an option does not appear, check the active module, the specific permission, and the record's scope. If the configuration is correct and the problem continues, save the displayed message and contact support.
