Before you start
When Verifactu is active for the company, Talento generates and submits a fiscal record to Spain's Tax Agency (AEAT) as each invoice is issued. The response remains attached to the invoice, and accepted documents include the corresponding tax QR code.
The AEAT's official VERI*FACTU frequently asked questions explain the regulatory system. This guide focuses on the workflow inside Talento.
Warning
Verifactu has fiscal and technical consequences. This guide does not replace advice from your accountant or instructions from the AEAT.
Request Verifactu activation
Regular company administration does not provide a self-service activation switch. Coordinate activation with the Talento team after reviewing legal and technical requirements, company data, issuing companies, numbering series, and taxes.
Involve the person responsible for invoicing and the company's accountant before requesting activation. Once active, submission behaviour and the fiscal options shown change across the account.
Export Verifactu records
With Verifactu active and the relevant administration access:
- Open Export Verifactu records.
- Select From and To dates.
- Select Download.
- Store the ZIP in the secure location defined by your company.
The ZIP contains XML records and a manifest for delivery to the AEAT when requested. One export covers at most eight months, so divide longer periods into several ranges.
Information
Export supports formal record delivery when requested. It does not replace the automatic submission performed when each invoice is issued with Verifactu.
Result
You can verify the result on the settings page, in the relevant list, or through the status described in the steps above.
Common issues
If an option is unavailable, check the active module, the specific permission, and the record scope. If the settings are correct and the issue continues, keep the displayed message and contact support.
