Before you begin
This feature lets you propose a temporary adjustment without directly changing the plan. The request remains pending until a manager reviews it. Once approved, Talento applies the new schedule or on-call cover.
You can request a different schedule for a date range, exchange your schedule with another employee, or manage one on-call duty.
Information
Schedule changes use the Absences permission. If the option is missing, ask an administrator to review your access and confirm that scheduling is enabled.
Configure an on-call rotation
- Open On-call schedules.
- Create a rotation and define its name, period, hours, and weekdays.
- Choose how often the assigned employee rotates: by days or by weeks.
- Decide how out-of-hours work will be recorded and whether standby availability is tracked separately.
- Save, then add participating offices, teams, or employees.
- Put employees in rotation order and review the generated calendar.
The rotation determines who has each future on-call duty. Changing participants or their order can regenerate later assignments, so review the calendar before announcing the change.
An absence affecting the assigned employee can create a coverage conflict. Use the rotation calendar to find these conflicts and assign a replacement.
Information
An on-call rotation with linked clock-in entries may not be deletable. Preserve its history by setting an end date or adjusting future assignments instead.
Result
You can confirm the result on the settings page, in the list, or in the status described in the steps above.
Common problems
If an option is missing, check that the module is active, that you have the specific permission, and that the record is within your scope. If the configuration is correct and the problem continues, keep the displayed message and contact support.
