For managers and administrators

Publish and manage news

Prepare an article, choose its audience, and decide when it should be published. This article is for managers working with their team or management scope.

Contents

Before you start

News is your company's space for internal announcements. Each person sees only the articles published for them, while people with editing permission can prepare, target, and schedule new articles.

Information

Creation and management options only appear when you have permission to manage articles. Reading access can also depend on the modules and permissions enabled by your company.

Open Manage news to see the articles you are allowed to manage. The list lets you distinguish drafts, scheduled articles, and published news.

Create a news article

  1. Select Create a news article.
  2. Enter a clear title and save the article.
  3. Add the main content in the editor.
  4. Add a cover image, tags, language, and comment settings where useful.
  5. Review visibility and choose who should be able to read it.

You can upload a PNG or JPEG cover image up to 10 MB. The title and body should still communicate the essential information when the image is unavailable.

Visibility deserves particular attention. Publishing an article does not automatically make it visible to the whole company; only people included by its visibility settings can open it.

Warning

Check the audience before publishing sensitive information. Tightening visibility later cannot undo notifications already sent or prevent access that has already occurred.

Publish now or schedule an article

Choose the option that matches the communication:

  • Draft: keeps the article out of the employee News area while you work on it.
  • Publish now: makes it available to its audience immediately.
  • Schedule: publishes it at the date and time you set.

Enable notifications when you want to alert people included in the article's visibility. Before publishing, recheck the title, content, audience, and publication time.

You can continue editing a scheduled article before it is published. If you move its publication time into the future, it remains outside the employee News list until that time arrives.

Result

You can check the result in the team view or in the status described in the steps above.

Common problems

  1. Check whether it is a draft, scheduled, or published.
  2. Review its publication date and time.
  3. Confirm that the intended reader is included by the article's visibility.
  4. Check the selected language and tags.
  5. If you cannot open the management page, ask an administrator to review your article permission.
