For managers

Prioritise my management scope

Review outstanding items and metrics for the people, customers, and processes you can manage. This article is for managers acting within their team or management scope.

Contents

Before you start

The Dashboard brings together operational items that need follow-up and provides quick access to their detail areas. It is designed for managers and administrators: it does not replace full dashboards or let you work directly with every record, but helps you decide where to act first.

The header shows whether you are viewing Whole company or Your management scope, but it does not expand what each section can display. Figures and lists respect your permissions and scope: a manager does not gain access to people, customers, invoices, or learning they cannot manage elsewhere. Learning information is always limited to people in your management or reporting scope, including for administrators.

Information

You need a management role to enter. Available sections and data also depend on active modules and your permissions, so two people may see different tabs or figures.

Open the dashboard

Open Dashboard from the administration area. Talento takes you to Overview and keeps the available tabs visible so you can change context without losing your navigation.

Use the priority summary

The overview shows items needing attention first. Depending on active features and your access, it can include:

  • overdue invoices and their outstanding amount;
  • overdue CRM follow-ups;
  • overdue learning paths;
  • absence or schedule-change requests awaiting approval;
  • people who are onboarding.

Select Review or the row itself to open the related section. If there are no overdue or pending items, Talento indicates that the important items in your scope are under control.

When the schedules module is active, People today shows counts of active, absent, overtime, and onboarding employees. This month combines the pipeline value, invoiced value, outstanding payments, and overdue learning paths when you have access. It does not apply a common date filter: Invoiced covers the current month, while every other figure is that area's current summary.

Outcome

You can identify the highest-priority work in your authorised scope and open the relevant work area from the summary.

Common issues

If an option is missing, it may depend on your permissions, active modules, or company configuration. Ask an administrator to review that access; you do not need to repeat the task or choose an unsuitable alternative.
